Admission
Admission to the pool area may be refused to anyone when the health or safety of the other pool members is in jeopardy. This would include, but is not limited to: colds, cuts, eye infections, open sores, and intoxication. Swimmers are required to shower before entering the pool. This is especially important after using the volleyball area as sand can damage the pump and filter system.Â
Baby Pool
The use of the baby pool is restricted to children 5 years old and under and must be accompanied by a member 15 years of age or older. Swim diapers are required for all children who are not toilet trained. These diapers will be available at the front desk for a fee.
Community Service Hours
Rockbrook Pool is a not-for-profit organization. High school students interested in earning community service hours should contact the Pool at information@rockbrookpool.com. Volunteers typically participate in Spring Worker Weekend, the Fourth of July Party, swim meets or other pool activities as approved by the Board of Directors.
Diving/Sliding Area
Only one person is permitted on either side of the diving board or the slide at a time. Only one bounce is permitted prior to diving and there should be no diving or jumping towards the side of the pool. Swimming in the diving/sliding area must be approved by the lifeguard on duty.
Early Closing
Early closing may be necessary due to inclement weather, temperatures below 67 degrees, or a home swim meet or at the manager’s discretion. The pool manager may close the pool if a health or safety hazard exists. Home swim meet dates will be posted on the bulletin board across from the front desk and on this web site. Typical closing time on those dates is 3:00 p.m.
Flotation Devices and Pool Toys
Members may use Coast Guard Approved Puddle Jumpers for their children. Adults must be within arm’s reach of their child(ren) at all times regardless if a young swimmer is wearing an approved puddle jumper.
For patron safety, only Nerf style balls are allowed in the pool. Other items/toys may be found unacceptable at the discretion of the pool staff.
Swim lessons are the most important life saving skill.
Food and Beverages
Glass or other breakable containers, utensils, etc. are not allowed within the pool fence, pool room or bathhouse facilities.
Although alcoholic beverages are not specifically excluded from being in the pool area, consumption should be inconspicuous as to not offend those members who do not consume alcohol. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is highly discouraged while swimming, diving or using the slide.
Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted as long as the following rules are followed:

Guest Fees
The use of pool property is limited to paid members and registered guests. Guests may use the pool when accompanied by a member for a fee of $5 per person per day. Members are only allowed to bring up to 5 guests in one visit. The guest fee on July 4th is $5 per person. There is no longer a limit on how many times you may bring the same guest. When bringing a guest, you must: 1) check in at the front desk 2) pay the guest fee.
It is important for all members to comply with the guest policy. Guest fees keep the member costs down and are an important source of revenue. Please notify the manager on duty of any unregistered guests as they will be asked to leave the pool. A baby sitter may bring the member’s children to the pool. The baby sitter will be required to pay a guest fee, each visit or, for Family Memberships, you can add on a Caregiver/Nanny pass.
Lost and Found
The pool is not responsible for any loss of property. The lost and found is located outside the men’s locker room. The contents of the lost and found is emptied at the end of the season and donated to a local charity. All pool members are encouraged to lock their bicycles and park them to the right of the pool entrance, inside the front fence line.
Membership Number
Rockbrook Pool does not issue membership cards. You will need to check in at the table before entering the pool. They will look up your membership to make sure you are an active member. Prior to the season, our new system will give you the ability to upload your own photo of you and each dependent. We will also be able to take your picture within your first visit to the pool. This process will ensure only active members are using the pool and all guests pay a guest fee.
Membership Revocation
The Rockbrook Pool Board reserves the right to deny or revoke membership for any member who violates any of the rules or guidelines listed, as well as for any reason which the board is presented a valid reason by a bond holding member, which could include but is not limited to rude or lewd behavior, ethical or questionable behaviors that affect the image or reputation of the pool, stealing, sneaking in guests, failing to follow and adhere to lifeguards on duty, bullying, etc…
